Empowering Local Volunteering & Community Growth Somerset
We were delighted to recently supply a donation of oak to ARK at Egwood, an inter-generational land-based day service for people of all ages, needs and abilities. Based upon 12 acres of land and woodland, ARK creates a safe, outdoor space for people to relax, engage with others and improve their overall health and wellbeing, whilst engaging in a number of rural based arts and crafts where our timber will be used.

We were delighted to donate to this local cause and support a charity that offers life-changing support to the community. The charity provides alternative education for young people, adult day provision for those with additional needs, and serves as an Armed Forces Hub, offering holistic support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families.
Their ‘Therapeutic Volunteering’ project helps individuals dealing with mental health challenges, social isolation, or low confidence, and participants receive support while contributing to activities like carpentry, gardening, and more, fostering personal growth and community involvement.
