The owners have recently engaged with the expert team at David Salisbury to replace the ageing existing conservatory building. David Salisbury created this very large, outstanding orangery extension using Hewins Air Dried Joinery Grade Oak. The owners and customers have been delighted with the warm environment and as a result the carvery has seen a significant boost in visitors since its completion.

The Oak structure
The main structure is produced from Hewins' fully seasoned 150mm Joinery Grade Waney Edge stocks, sawn to nominal sizes by our in-house Sawmill. This is then shipped to David Salisbury’s highly mechanised factory where it is precisely machined, prepared and assembled into the beautiful structure featured here.
